I had a great experience with Reverb. It was my first time, but I guarantee it won’t be my last. I made an offer on a pedal for my Marshall amp & it was accepted. I wasn’t sure if I’d actually get what was listed or not. But, to my surprise, it was exactly what was listed. I’ve been searching for other items & Reverb was lower than the online places. Thank you Reverb & all the other musicians out there who are honest with fellow musicians. Rock On!!

Reverb is hands down the best venue for musician to musician instrument and gear sales. The expectation has been set high for honest and accurate descriptions of what’s for sale, prompt responses and shipping. Quite a few payment options, save on shipping through the site with built in coverage, and If anything goes wrong with shipping Reverb has your back. For me there’s no better, safer way to transact.

I’ve had lots of good experiences on reverb buying and selling but now something has gone wrong I can even get an answer from them. Bought an item - it never shipped - seller ghosted me - I’ve obviously been scammed. I waited two weeks from purchase to flag the issue and I’ve had nothing but “ we will contact the seller “ - that was ten days ago. Unacceptable from a company of its size and wealth.

I had a great experience with Reverb, I needed tubes for my Bassbreaker 15 and found an "upgrade" tube set. I was skeptical but since it was only $20 more then the regular set, I went for it. I installed them and no kidding this thing has NEVER sounded this good ever! I will say if you don't really know what your listening for then don't bother with the upgrade but if you are into it like me and can hear stuff pretty good then go for it. I will be doing more business with Reverb in the near future.

Selling a guitar oversea. Shipping. Buyer, who have to pay customer taxes, refuse package and calm not ordering anything from Reverb. He was full refund. I have to pay shipping cost and return fews ! Reverb is just a big scam for seller. Near 9% few service !!! Don't go & boycott !!!

It's hard to make money selling your gear when 75% of the offers come from spam troll accounts who make an offer and never pay, knowing Reverb does nothing to enforce payment or punish accounts for wasting time and screwing over potential sales.

Reverb doesn't even have a phone number anymore to contact customer service. It's just gone and directs you to chat bots instead.

There's no way to block buyers so you're constantly harassed by 0 feedback catfish accounts making offers to get their jollies. It's unprofessional and unbecoming of what was the official place to sell music gear.

The only way to buy or sell your instrument. Yes that's what I said in the title. The reason is because it works, it's how buyers and seller all around the world can find exactly what they are looking for and exactly what they want to pay for it. My Dad owned a music store that I grew up working in. I was re fretting guitars before I could ride a bike. Only kidding, but I did learn at an early age. In those days you would bring in your guitar for trade and buy whatever the store had in stock or could order and then you would wait for a special order to come in and hopefully it wasn't damaged in transit. Now with Reverb.com you can sell or buy that special instrument you are looking for to people all around the globe that you would have never known they had what you wanted or you have what they want. I joined this site and in less than 2 weeks I bought the dream guitar I was looking for and sold the dream guitar someone else was looking for. We were over 1000 miles apart and this site makes it like your going down to your local music store to buy an instrument. This site is the local music store. The system they created works, just give it a try you will love it. !!!! I Do !!!!

Den of thieves best describes Reverb.com where they lay in wait to pounce a rip off scam on you. 3/4 transactions ended up in a rip off scam with false descriptions on products and unsafe packing materials in a time of epidemic. How do they get away with it? When you actually try to get a hold of Reverb.com it’s almost practically impossible. I had an email address from prior transactions, all of a sudden it doesn’t work? I was only able to salvage one guitar. The return policies make it so that in most cases it’s not cost effective to return. Who wants to get charged twice for shipping? They also want to use you in the shipping insurance scam stating untruths so they get the kick back. Wow, this can’t be right.

I've always had good experience with Reverb.com. The way the site is structured and the functionality is just really well thought out.

Reverb has been a reliable and exciting place to learn about and purchase a variety of my musical needs. I continually find items I’ve not seen before and can usually find whatever rare or scarce ones that I have an interest in. A great site to visit.

Great deal on a Beringer FBQ 3102 equalizer. Great communication with the seller. Fast shipping. Arrived as described. Will use Reverb.com again for other gear.

It’s nice to be able to communicate with the seller before purchasing something. I recommend buying something close to home, as your wait time will be less and you can workout a reasonable shipping cost, usually less than if your buying something across the pond.
If you are a first time seller just pay the fee . I sold a Tele to someone in the UK and waited forever to get paid on it, not worth the first time no fee option, over 2 months I had to wait to get paid.
